ABOUT ME
WHO AM I?
My name is Steven I am 50 and previously from Edinburgh where I worked as a Driving Instructor for 7 years. Having moved to Fife in 2014 I decided to open my own school and that's how NOT 2 FAST NOT 2 FURIOUS was born. I am ADI Registered, CRB checked, and offer a range of services.
WHAT CAR WILL I LEARN IN?
A Ford Fiesta ST in White, with a manual transmission, HE-MAN Dual controls, and fully insured.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
I offer Driving Lessons for all levels of experience from absolute beginners to those who just want a few refresher lessons, nervous drivers, motorway driving, and all-weather driving (where possible) everyone is welcome!
HOW MANY HOURS OF DRIVING LESSONS WILL I NEED?
Statistics show that the average amount of hours required is 30-60 of practice, however, it is important to remember that not everyone learns at the same rate some may pick it up easier than others and this does not reflect the ability to drive safely, the most important thing is that the learner driver feels safe and secure and confident behind the wheel and the rest will follow naturally.
WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE PLANS?
My future plans are to expand the driving school and to offer PASS PLUS alongside more in-depth safety training above and beyond the standards level for example, for example offering skid control in a practical lesson.
Statistics show young drivers are more likely to be involved in fatal accidents and it is my passion to teach safe and responsible driving which will hopefully produce a higher level of road safety.
UPDATE: Car no 2 is hitting the roads Mid Aug 2023, look out for a Focus ST Line driven by the Mrs! I am pleased to say she is now officially a PDI.
